As Chief Operating Officer and Compliance Officer at Arrowroot, Irene Apergis oversees the firm's operations and compliance, keeping the practice running soundly. She is motivated by a financial services industry that is always changing and growing, and she takes pride in providing clients with market analysis, education, and a clear plan for their future.
Irene has worked in financial services for more than 22 years. She began her career out of a lifelong interest in how financial markets work, and she brings expertise across investments, capital markets, operations, management, and sales. Before joining Arrowroot, she was an investment management professional in wealth management at UBS, JPMorgan, Bear Stearns, and Merrill Lynch, worked in business development with KLS Professional Advisors, and clerked for the SEC. She currently holds the Series 65, and previously held series 24, 27, 63 and 79 securities licenses, and is a member of the State Bar of California.
Irene earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School Los Angeles and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities. Outside the office, she spends her time with her husband, Pete, and their daughter, Theoni, hiking together and cheering on her daughter's outdoor sports.
