As Vice President at Arrowroot, Matt McEwen specializes in business development and helps shape the firm's investment strategies. He is motivated by Arrowroot's fiduciary-focused, client-only model and takes pride in the firm's broad scope of services. He is known for breaking down complex financial strategies into clear terms, without jargon or unnecessary complication.
Before joining Arrowroot, Matt worked for Edward Jones, running the firm's office in Berkley, Michigan. Earlier, he spent more than 21 years in information technology, entering the field as a programmer and finishing his IT career in project management. He earned a Bachelor of Business in Computer Information Systems from Ferris State University.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys kayaking, motorcycling, live concerts, fishing, reading, and attending Detroit sporting events. He is also proud to be involved with the Friends of the Berkley Library and Make a Difference Dog Rescue of Detroit
