As a Portfolio Manager at Arrowroot Family Office, Mike Knittel specializes in portfolio management, financial analysis, and developing lifetime roadmaps for clients. Driven by a desire to be of service, he has built deep relationships across the financial industry that allow him to help individuals and businesses of all sizes solve complex financial matters.
Mike has worked in the financial industry for more than 23 years. Before joining Arrowroot, he spent 12 years at Lagunitas Asset Management, investing in and advising clients on startup companies and venture capital funds. His love of numbers began in childhood and carried through to his graduation from the University of California, Davis and a career in finance.
Mike lives in El Dorado Hills, California, with his fiancée, Cassie, and their blended family of five adult children — Brady, Makenna, Madison, Gabe, and Jacob — and grandchildren Walker and Memphis. Outside of work, he enjoys walking his four dogs, swimming, and reading. He serves on the board of Cristo Rey High School, a nonprofit school for students from families below the poverty line, and is active in Celebrate Recovery, supporting others through community service
